How to play

Any player shuffles the pack and deals five cards to each player. Every turn starts with the player picking up a card from the pack. There must be a minimum of five card on hand at any time, so the player must take more cards to fill their hand if they have less at the start of their turn.

A vibe is

A collection of four things that create a vibe | story | mood | character | collection of similar things.

Example:

Cards: STORM + ENERGY DRINK + TEAR + ADOBE LICENCE

Vibe: STORMY EVENING ON CAMPUS

It’s all about presentation! Sell your vibe.

 

Cards

Vibe shift

Player chooses which player/players they take up to four cards from depending on the number on the vibe shift card (x1, x2, x3, x4)

Bad vibe

Player chooses which other player/players take away their cards up to four cards depending on the number on the bad vibe card (x1, x2, x3, x4)

My vibe

Player can create their own vibe card by writing down the word and drawing an image on an empty my vibe card. The card is now part of the game.

Fast vibe

Player must quickly make up a vibe using four new cards from the pack. They cannot use the cards in their hand for a fast vibe.

Normal cards

Player checks if they can form a vibe from the cards in their hand. If not, the player announces “No vibe”, and it is the next person’s turn.

If the player thinks they have a vibe, the player announces “vibe check” and shows the cards and names the vibe. The other players decide whether it is a vibe or not. “It’s a vibe” | “Not a vibe”.

If it’s a vibe, the player stacks the cards in front of them and they get a point. The next turn begins.

If it’s not a vibe, the player loses the four vibe cards.

 

The player with most points wins the game.

NOTE: The player cannot do a vibe check before using all the special cards they are holding first.
